Eamon & Bec’s Organic Lakeside Wedding

It all started with an email that was anything but ordinary—a vibrant message filled with fun colours and a personalized YouTube video from Bec, outlining a dream that felt as organic as their life at the cabin. Having spent thirteen years building a life together, Eamon and Bec, who are also well-known Youtubers/Vloggers, wanted their wedding to be a true reflection of their journey. When we sat down to discuss their vision and asked for their top three priorities, they didn’t have a long list of demands; they only had one: VIBES.

A Weekend on the Lake: The Three-Part Celebration

This wedding had been in the works for a long time, and they knew it had to be epic. Their dream? A weekend filled with their loved ones on the lake. The weekend started on Thursday, when friends and family began to trickle in. The evening was spent catching up, sharing stories, and dreaming of what the rest of the weekend would bring.

Friday started early with an early morning yoga session and sound bath led by @solroswellness & @jes_mindovermess. Followed by Eamon making coffee & tea for their loved ones, a nod back to their roots working at a coffee shop. The afternoon was spent in The Habit Hut and in the water. While they were having a great time, our team was working away for the rest of the evening. Their welcome BBQ on the beach with carefully curated food, drinks, music and even a tattoo artist ready to solidify this weekend permanently for guests. As the kids went off to bed, the silent disco headphones came out and DJ King Kadeem turned it out and they partied late into the night.

Saturday started out like Friday with another early morning yoga session and sound bath to set the tone for the wedding day. The tattoo artist arrived for a second day to tattoo guests while they got ready for the main event. Eamon and Bec got ready with their family and friends at the cabin and you could feel the love pouring out of the doors. The main event was hosted at their iconic cabin.

The Sunday Farewell Brunch followed underneath the tent they had only left hours before. Guests gathered to eat good food, drink good tea & coffee, and say goodbye with proper hugs and kisses.

The Ceremony: Dockside Magic

The ceremony was nothing short of magic, beginning with Eamon’s unforgettable grand entrance as he fliteboarded across the water toward the dock. Set against the serene lakeside backdrop, the unplugged ceremony took place right on the cabin dock, while guests enjoyed a unique vantage point watching from floating boats on the water. A particularly moving moment was the heart meditation led by Kara, which invited every guest to hold space and focus their collective love and intentions on the couple as they began their next chapter together.

Design & Atmosphere: Organic and Grounded

The entire aesthetic was curated for an atmosphere that felt truly organic and grounded. Instead of a standard structure, a round, sailcloth tent was chosen, designed specifically to look like it had "sprung up from the ground." The commitment to sustainable details was woven throughout, notably with the plantable menus made of wildflower seeds, which guests were encouraged to tear up and plant after dinner. Further enhancing the relaxed mood, the cocktail hour music was acoustic, keeping the energy intimate and personal. Other personalized details included hand-carved wooden bowties for the groomsmen and a touching family tree installation with hanging pictures of their loved ones.

Florals were designed to fill every corner. The dock, the tent, the walk up the stairs. They wanted the cabin and space to feel alive, fun, and happy. Flowers filled the dock, and even the boats had greenery to make every space welcoming.

The drinks menu was equally thoughtful, featuring cocktails uniquely infused with their signature Habit Tea.

The Big Surprise

While we normally would be emailing and messaging in the group chats for their wedding planning discussions, Eamon messaged us separately to ask us to help pull off a HUGE surprise for Bec. The couple used to drive to work together and listen to the radio (KiSS 92.5) and would listen to DJ Clymaxxx’s mixes. As that was a special memory for Eamon, he wanted to bring in the one and only DJ Clymaxxx for Bec. This was one of the best moments of the day. Bec had no idea what was going to happen. Eamon got on the mic, and Bec immediately thought Eamon was going to rap for her, but to her surprise, he introduced DJ Clymaxxx, and she fell to the ground with her jaw on the floor. The rest was history as they partied the night away.

Looking back, the entire event felt truly organic and intentional and was a perfect reflection of Eamon and Bec’s thirteen-year journey together. We are so grateful to have met Eamon & Bec, and to help bring their dreams to life.
